Course Description: This course looks at the organizational and societal context in which health care is delivered in specific countries worldwide. A historical perspective is developed early in the semester. Building on this, the course explores existing health care policies in a specific population or county. This course further examines existing health networks, forms of care delivery, consumer needs and economics and funding for an identified population.

Brief Bio: Mary Kutchin has significant experience in hospital administration and nursing leadership. She has experience in both line management and staff management positions. She also has experience in project management and consultations for healthcare organizations with an expertise in accreditation standards. She has developed and managed programs for case management and disease management. Her clinical experience is in critical care, cardiac care and surgical care areas.
