Kent State University has been educating students in Geneva for more than 30 years. During this time, Kent State Geneva has served not only as the students' home away from home, but also as a source of personal development, valuable internship experiences, and cultural growth.
Located in a picturesque setting with views of the Alps, Kent State Geneva is housed on the campus of Webster University, our onsite partner institution. There are over 600 students from over 50 countries, creating a diverse and dynamic learning atmosphere.
Fall Semester: late August - mid-December
Spring Semester: mid-January - early May
Courses are offered in a variety, including but not limited to:
As a participant in the Kent State Geneva program, you have the valuable opportunity to acquire a pre-professional internship with an International Organization or NGO. Although the internships are unpaid, academic credit is given for their successful completion.
Students reside in the Les Berges du Rhone housing facility, located
in the heart of downtown Geneva on the banks of the Rhone River.
The facility houses over 100 study abroad students in suite-style
apartments with private bathrooms and kitchens.* While single rooms are sometimes available, they must be requested early, be subject to an elevated housing fee, and will be awarded on a case by base basis. Traditionally all students will be placed in a double room with one roommate.
[STUDENT LIFE IN GENEVA]

Spring Semester: September 15*
*The application process and all materials must be submitted by this deadline date.
