KOREA AEROSPACE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM
Program Term: Summer
The International Summer Program is specially designed by Korea Aerospace University for students with an interest in both Aerospace and Korea. All courses are conducted in English and are taught by renowned professors at KAU and visiting professors in the world.
The exclusive KAU International Summer Program offers international students from all over the world the unique opportunity to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure. Along with three week intensive lectures, the program also offers students an optional internship opportunity at Korean Air, which is one of the biggest airlines in the world.
Students will select two courses from the list below, one morning course and one afternoon course, for a total of 6 credit hours.
Morning Session: 9:00AM - 12:30PM (Monday - Thursday) & 11:30AM - 12:30PM (Friday)
Middle Session: 12:30PM - 2:20PM (Monday - Friday)
Afternoon Session: 2:30PM - 6:00PM (Monday - Thursday) & 2:30PM - 3:30PM (Friday)
The KAU ISP is held every summer from late June through mid-July. Students participating in the optional internship at Korean Air will stay until early August.
- Academic Portion: June 28 - July 19, 2020
- Optional Korean Air Internship: July 20 - July 31, 2020 (tentative)
- May 31, 2020
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 cumulative
- Valid passport. US citizens: no visa is required for this program
- International students must consult the Consulate of South Korea to determine their immigration requirements
On-campus dormitory housing is available. Our dormitory has recently renovated and each room is fully furnished with a desk, a wardrobe, blanket, pillow, and mini book shelves. Each suite is air-conditioned and equipped with free wireless internet service.
PROGRAM COSTS:Students pay a $60 application fee, international insurance fee required by Kent State ($12.25/week), and additional costs will be based on KAU tuition, room and board fees -see below:
