Language Prerequisite: No - Knowledge of French is recommended
Primary Instruction Language: English
Eligibility: 2.5 GPA

ACADEMIC OVERVIEW

Participants will enroll in the ISIT Institute of Management and Intercultural Studies, a renowned European institution of higher education. Students will enroll in full-time coursework, defined as a minimum of 12.0 credit hours, in approved courses within Business Administration, Management, Communication, Translation Studies and other academic areas. ACADEMIC CALENDAR
  • SPRING SEMESTER: January 18 - April 30 
  • FALL SEMESTER: September 7 - December 18

These dates are tentative. Always consult the host university’s website and your Education Abroad Advisor before finalizing travel arrangements.
 

PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
  • Participants must be a current degree-seeking Kent State student
  • Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Be formally nominated by their Academic College or appropriate Study Abroad Coordinator
 

ACCOMMODATION

Students will reside in local apartment housing near the ISIT campus. Students are responsible for securing their own housing. Information about available apartments near the ISIT campus can be found here
 

COSTS & TUITION

  • Students pay Kent State University equivalent tuition (Ohio Resident or Non-Resident) for 12-18 credit hours. 
  • Housing and living costs will vary depending on the options students choose. 
  • Total estimated costs can be found in the Budget Sheet at the top of this page.

APPLICATION PROCESS

There are several important steps to complete when applying for an exchange program. 
 
  • Click “Apply Now” on this page and create a profile here on the KSU application portal.
  • Complete the KSU education abroad application, including payment of the $60 application fee.
  • The Education Abroad Team will make official nominations to the host university by a specified deadline. 
  • Students will be notified of being selected by Kent State University for official nomination within two weeks of the host university application deadline.
  • If officially nominated, applicants must then complete the host university application for their specific term of interest.
  • The student will be notified of official acceptance to the exchange program by Kent State University and the host university.​

Please visit the CDC travel page for information about any vaccinations you may need or health and safety tips for traveling to your destination. 

If vaccinations or medicines are needed according to the CDC, you can make arrangements with your healthcare provider or the DeWeese Health Center as soon as possible for appointments. Appointment openings at the DeWeese Health Center are limited and they may have to order your vaccine, which takes time. Please note that not all immunizations are available at the DeWeese Health Center. Plan accordingly.
