WEBSTER UNIVERSITY GENEVA | SUMMER PROGRAM
Located in a picturesque setting with views of the Alps, Kent State Geneva is housed on the campus of Webster University, our onsite partner institution. There are over 600 students from over 50 countries, creating a diverse and dynamic learning atmosphere.
Courses: May 22 - July 13, 2019 (2019 Arrival and Departure Dates Coming Soon!)
Courses are offered in a series of "Learning Themes". It is encouraged for students to take both courses in the Learning Theme they select. However, students may choose courses from across different Learning Themes as well as the "Stand-Alone Courses" list. Students may enroll in either 2 or 3 courses (6.0, 9.0 credits, respectively).
Learning Themes Include:
[LIFE IN GENEVA]
The summer program in Geneva offers students to opportunity to explore one of Europe's most beautiful cities. Aside from taking classes, students can explore Geneva and the rest of Europe. Some highlights in Geneva include the Jet d’Eau (a giant fountain located on Lake Geneva, on which the city is situated), the Gothic St. Pierre Cathedral, many parks and nearby mountains, and the United Nations Headquarters.
Students reside in the Les Berges du Rhone housing facility, located
in the heart of downtown Geneva on the banks of the Rhone River.
The facility houses study abroad students in suite-style
apartments with private bathrooms and kitchens.* While single rooms are sometimes available, they must be requested early, be subject to an elevated housing fee, and will be awarded on a case by base basis. Traditionally all students will be placed in a double room with one roommate.
Please click on "Summer Billing Sheet" at the top of the page for the latest estimates.
