Program Term: Fall, Spring, Academic Year
Set in the heart of one of England's most attractive counties, the surrounding villages and countryside are easily reachable to explore. Our central location in the Midlands, makes it to accessible from all directions. It takes just 62 minutes to come to Leicester on a fast, direct train from London.
Students can choose classes from a wide range of disciplines. Please refer to the courses/modules website to see all the class options. Keep in mind that in the UK, they refer to 'classes' as 'modules.' Students typically take 3 classes that are worth 4 credit hours each.
***If you are planning on taking biology, geology, engineering or math classes, you must go for the Academic year or during the Spring semester.***
Note: It is very difficult to get permission to take business management classes at Leicester.
- The Fall semester goes from late September until mid-December.
- The Spring semester goes from late January until mid-June.
- This program is open to students of all majors.
- The minimum GPA requirement for this program is 2.5
- Additionally, students must have at least Sophomore standing.
The University of Leicester has several options for campus housing ranging from residence style catered houses (includes 14 meals per week) to apartment style self-catered housing (no meals included). Students who live in self-catered housing are responsible for purchasing all food.

COSTS & TUITION
Students pay Kent State University tuition (Resident or Non-Resident) for 12 credit hours. Housing and living costs will vary depending on the options students choose, and will be paid directly to the housing coordinator. Total estimated costs can be found in the Budget Sheet at the top of this page, to the lower left of the Apply Now button.
